Ben Powell

Director of Technical Recruiting

Ben is a former Software Developer turned Business Analyst and Project Manager, who spent over 15 years eliciting requirements, managing projects, and developing software applications for enterprise-level organizations in the South. Ben spent 8 years in various SDLC roles with Yusen Logistics prior to joining 1Link Technology.  With his Bachelor’s in Communications combined with his love for people and the Lord, technical recruiting made for a perfect fit. He views his recruiting role as an opportunity to serve others by guiding them in their search for the right technical position with the ideal organization. In October of 2019, Ben was promoted to Director of IT Recruiting, where in addition to his full-time recruiting responsibilities, he serves as a trainer for new recruiters.

When Ben is not working, you will most likely catch him coaching and cheering his kids on a soccer field or basketball court. Ben lives in Collierville, TN with his wife, Courtney, a Registered Nurse, and 2.75 children, Eli, Addy, and beloved Labradors, Wrigley and Barkley.
